Transplant Disaster Information

It’s possible that certain events may occur which could disrupt our ability to provide long-term transplant services.  Events such as a natural disaster or man-made events such as the unexpected loss of key transplant personnel could impact your ability to receive transplant care at Erlanger.

In the event of such an occasion, the transplant program follows the hospital's disaster relief plan but here are sources you can use to receive information regarding your transplant care.

In a crisis situation, it is best TO BE PREPARED. It’s a good idea to maintain a 5–7 day supply of the following:

• All medications, especially blood pressure and transplant medication
• Diabetic supplies (if you are diabetic)
• Emergency items such as bottled water, canned food, batteries, flashlight, first aid kit, extra money/credit card, clean clothes, and battery powered radio.

Listen for instructions from city, county, and state officials. It’s important to follow their instructions.
