“Jared is a nurse practitioner with the inpatient neurology department. While on the inpatient stroke service, he was able to identify a patient for a new clinical trial the neurology department is participating in. In fact, this person was the first patient in this region to be enrolled in the clinical trial. Despite his shift ending hours prior, he remained with the patient drawing appropriate laboratories and staying throughout the infusion. He displayed not only a strong commitment to patient care, but also a commitment to advancing clinical research at Erlanger."
