Acute Care Physical Therapy Mentors

Learn from Experienced Acute Care Physical Therapy Mentors

The success of a residency experience is shaped by the clinicians who guide it. Erlanger's Acute Care Physical Therapy Residency Program provides residents with direct mentorship from experienced physical therapists who are dedicated to advancing clinical excellence, evidence-based practice, and professional growth.

Our mentors bring specialized expertise across a wide range of acute care settings, including orthopaedics, neurological rehabilitation, critical care, cardiovascular and cardiothoracic care, oncology, surgical services, chronic disease management, and emergency medicine. Through one-on-one mentoring, clinical instruction, case-based learning, and collaborative interdisciplinary care, residents develop the advanced clinical reasoning and treatment skills needed to excel in today's complex healthcare environments.

Working alongside expert clinicians in a leading academic medical center, residents gain valuable hands-on experience caring for medically complex patients while building the confidence, knowledge, and professional competencies required of advanced acute care physical therapists.
