Dr. Ajay Makwana is a board-certified physician known for his thoughtful approach and dedication to patient-centered care. He earned his medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. Driven by a passion for deeper understanding and specialized care, Dr. Makwana remained at Indiana University to pursue advanced fellowship training in endocrinology.

With a strong foundation in both general internal medicine and endocrine disorders, Dr. Makwana is committed to helping patients manage complex health conditions with clarity and compassion. He values building long-term relationships with his patients and empowering them to take an active role in their health journey.

In his free time, Dr. Makwana enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with his family. He also enjoys exercising and playing the clarinet and saxophone.
