About / Overview

Dr. Givens was raised in Middle Tennessee, just outside of Nashville. His interest in medicine began at a young age when his sister was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer. That experience inspired a deep compassion for others and a desire to support patients and families during challenging times – just as physicians had done for his own family.

He earned his medical degree from St. George’s University, where he had the opportunity to complete clinical rotations across the United States. These experiences exposed him to a wide range of patient populations and medical conditions, helping him develop a broad perspective and deep appreciation for the nuances of care.
