We welcome those patients desiring an all-natural birthing experience, but 24-hour anesthesia service is available for pain management, including labor epidurals and C-sections.

Security

Many precautions have been put in place for the safety and security of you and your baby. You will be wearing matching identification bands and the baby will also have a security tag.

Discharge

Most new mothers and their babies are discharged 24 to 48 hours after delivery. At that time, you will receive discharge instructions and information about the follow-up care for you and your baby, as well as resources for at-home help.

Each infant must have a car seat installed in order to be discharged from the hospital. Install your car seat well before your due date by a certified child passenger safety technician. For more information on available dates and times, contact the Safe & Sound department at 778-6691 or visit www.seatcheck.org and enter your zip code for car seat installations in your area.
