Dr. Vardhana completed his Internal Medicine Residency training at Erlanger Hospital before moving to East Tennessee for his Fellowship in Medical Oncology. After completing his fellowship, he received an additional year of training in Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. He has been in private practice since 2009 in Bristol, TN and moved back to Chattanooga in 2017 to continue his practice in medical oncology and hematology at UT Erlanger Oncology and Hematology.
He has a strong interest in diagnosing and treating solid tumors which include lung, gastrointestinal, genito-urinary malignancies as well as brain tumors. He has also been the primary and sub-investigator of various clinical trials. He believes in wholesome compassionate care of his patient and likes to empower the patient and family in all the decision making.
In his free time he likes to go hiking with his family.
