Dr. Jason Dedeker is a psychiatrist with Erlanger East Hospital. He began his academic journey studying history at Southern Adventist University, where he developed a deep appreciation for the personal stories and cultural experiences that shape human lives. This passion for understanding people led him to pursue a career in psychiatry.

Dr. Dedeker served for eight years as a psychiatrist in the United States Navy, where he gained diverse clinical and leadership experience in Naval hospitals, with Marine Corps units, and during deployments aboard surface ships. These experiences broadened his perspective and strengthened his commitment to compassionate, comprehensive mental health care.

Now that he is back in his hometown, Dr. Dedeker is honored to serve the Chattanooga community and contribute to its residents’ well-being.
