As Erlanger expands access to advanced surgical services in the Western Carolina/Murphy location, Dr. Cox will help introduce robotic-assisted surgery to the region. This advanced technology can allow for greater precision and may offer patients shorter recovery times and less postoperative discomfort. A member of the American College of Surgeons and the Association of Women Surgeons, she is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care and ensuring patients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their surgical journey.

Outside of the operating room, Dr. Cox enjoys gardening, archery, knitting, embroidery, baking, reading, and painting. She and her husband look forward to putting down roots in the region and establishing a homestead while becoming active members of the Western North Carolina and North Georgia communities.
