About / Overview

Dr. Parker Plant is a board-certified, fellowship-trained pediatric orthopaedist. Following his undergraduate studies at the University of Utah, Dr. Plant served a two-year mission program with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Tennessee, where he had the opportunity to learn the Spanish language. Having enjoyed his time in the south, Dr. Plant decided to complete his medical training in the region.

Dr. Plant earned his medical degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, S.C., followed by pediatrics residency training at Children’s Hospital at Erlanger. He went on to complete fellowship training in non-operative pediatric orthopaedics at Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville, Ky.

After making his way back to Children’s Hospital at Erlanger, Dr. Plant is excited to serve the children and families of the area. When he’s not spending time with his wife and three children, Dr. Plant enjoys golfing and supporting the Tennessee Vols and the Utah Jazz.
