About / Overview

Dr. Mounzer Yassin-Kassab completed a neurology residency and two accredited fellowships in clinical neurophysiology and vascular neurology (stroke) at Southwestern Medical Center, affiliated with the University of Texas in Dallas. He is board-certified in neurology, clinical neurophysiology, vascular neurology, and epilepsy.

Dr. Yassin-Kassab serves as the Medical Director of Erlanger Neurology, as well as professor of neurology and chairman of the department of neurology at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Epilepsy Society. He has participated in numerous national and international clinical trials, is well-published, and has given national and international presentations on stroke and epilepsy topics.
