Family Medicine Primary Care Lindsey Merkle Moore, MD

About / Overview

Dr. Moore is a board-certified family medicine physician and a proud Tennessee native. She completed her undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University, where she majored in history and gained valuable research experience working in Dr. Alan Cherrington’s Diabetes Research Lab.

She went on to earn her medical degree from East Tennessee State University’s Quillen College of Medicine, where she was part of the Rural Primary Care Track and was honored with induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society for her compassionate approach to care. Dr. Moore completed her residency training at the UTHSC-Nashville Family Medicine Residency Program.

With a special interest in geriatrics, women’s health, and preventive medicine, Dr. Moore is passionate about family medicine and the long-term relationships it fosters with patients and their families.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors—especially hiking and rock climbing. She also loves traveling, cooking, and exploring new restaurants.
