About / Overview

Dr. Jennifer Mirza is a board-certified, fellowship-trained cardiologist with Erlanger Cardiology. As a Chattanooga native, she loves caring for the heart and cardiovascular needs of the community. Dr. Mirza was initially drawn to the medical field, and cardiology in particular, after members of her family experienced cardiac issues. She became fascinated by the heart and felt called to pursue a career in medicine. She counts herself lucky to have been able to spend her career practicing in this region.

Dr. Mirza approaches every patient relationship with the same care, respect, and compassion she would want for her own family. She genuinely enjoys partnering with patients, taking the time to listen, answer questions, and help them better understand their heart health. Guiding patients toward positive, lasting changes that support long‑term wellness is one of the most rewarding parts of her work.

When she’s not working, Dr. Mirza enjoys nature photography and gardening, though she despises weeding. She also likes to travel and learn about different cultures and people.
