About Erlanger Sponsorships
Erlanger has a long tradition of strengthening the health and well-being of the communities we serve. Through over 120 partnerships with local organizations, financial contributions, and the countless volunteer hours contributed by our employees and physicians, we embrace our responsibility to support a healthier, thriving Southeast region.
Each year, Erlanger invests in nonprofit organizations whose initiatives improve health, inspire wellness, and help build stronger communities.
Funding requests are reviewed monthly by a cross-functional Erlanger Sponsorship Committee, which evaluates each application based on mission alignment, available resources, eligibility, and completeness of required information.
Application Submission Deadline
To allow adequate time for review and decision-making, sponsorship applications should be submitted at least 60 days prior to the event date.
Applications received less than 60 days before an event may be considered; however, Erlanger cannot guarantee review or funding prior to the event. Organizations are encouraged to apply as early as possible.
Eligibility Requirements
Organizations requesting sponsorship must:
- Be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
- Have a physical presence in the communities served by Erlanger (office location, governing board, active volunteer base, etc.)
- Submit all required supporting documentation
Sponsorships Not Eligible for Funding
To ensure fairness and consistency in our giving practices, Erlanger does not provide sponsorships for:
- Sponsorship requests for individual persons
- Individual schools (unless part of a broader health education initiative)
- School-affiliated sports teams or clubs (unless supported through Erlanger's athletic training program or approved signage opportunities)
- Traveling sports teams
- Traveling music groups
- Beauty pageants or similar competitions
Before You Begin
Please have the following required documents ready to upload:- ✔ Sponsorship package detailing all sponsorship levels, benefits, and recognition opportunities
- ✔ Current list of board members and officers
- ✔ Most recently filed IRS Form 990
Important Information
- Submission of an application does not guarantee funding.
- Applications are reviewed monthly.
- Incomplete applications may delay consideration.
- A confirmation email will be sent after submission.
- Applicants will be notified once a decision has been made.
