Dr. Abhinaya Jawahar is board-certified in internal medicine and endocrinology. She specializes in endocrinology and is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at UT Health Science Center College of Medicine—Chattanooga.

Following medical school at Madras Medical College in Chennai, India, Dr. Jawahar completed an internal medicine residency at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts, and an endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism fellowship at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Louisville, Kentucky. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, Endocrine Society, American Diabetes Association, American Association of Clinical Endocrinology, and American Thyroid Association.
