Phones are available in patient rooms as well as the NICU waiting room. Press 1-9 for outside calls. There is also a courtesy phone in the hospital lobby.
Calling Patient Rooms
- From outside line or cell phone: 778-6 plus the room number
- From an inside line or another patient room: 6 plus the room number
Cell Phones
Cell phones are permitted in patient care areas that are not instrument intensive or where life-support or critical devices are not routinely used, such as waiting rooms and lobby areas. Please do not use your cell phone in areas clearly marked with signage. Cell phones must be in silent mode in NICU.
Wi-Fi and Internet
Free, high-speed wireless access (Wi-Fi) access is available throughout Children’s Hospital, as well the Medical Mall. Select “ehspub” from your Wi-Fi network selections, and agree to the terms of use. You do not need a password.
For your convenience, Erlanger has a U.S. Post Office near Elevator E on the main hospital floor. Hours are Tues – Fri, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
