Dirk W. Kiner is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He completed a Fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is a graduate of the Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed his Orthopaedic residency at the Henry Ford Health System, where he served as Chief Resident. He is on staff at the area’s only Level One Trauma Center and is also an Associate Professor and Research Director, for the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Chattanooga campus. He lectures extensively regarding the care and management of severe orthopaedic injuries at seminars held by AO North America and the Southeast Fracture Symposium.
