Dr. Cara Hennings is a board-certified dermatologist, specializing in both adult and pediatric dermatology. She treats a variety of skin conditions including skin cancers, benign growths, acne, eczema, rosacea, and psoriasis. She conducts rigorous skin examinations to detect skin cancers. Her practice also offers a wide range of cosmetic dermatology services such as Botox, lasers, and soft tissue fillers.

Dr. Hennings received her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and continued her training in dermatology at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, where she was named chief resident in her fourth year.

Dr. Hennings’s work has been cited in such publications as the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, and she has been invited to speak on numerous occasions for Vanderbilt and the Tennessee Dermatology Society. She also has been invited to write a book chapter in Fitzpatrick’s Dermatology. She is a board member on the Tennessee Dermatology Society.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family which includes her husband and 2 children. She loves to travel and play golf.
