Biography

Elizabeth Phelps, DPT grew up in Ringgold, GA. Elizabeth received her Bachelor Degree of Science in Kinesiology from Georgia Southern University in 2014.  She returned to Chattanooga to obtain her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Tennessee of Chattanooga in 2017.  Elizabeth has worked in outpatient orthopedics in the Chattanooga/Ringgold area since graduation.  She is certified in Dry Needling for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.  Elizabeth has a love for working with multiple injuries/conditions, but has a specific interest in the active population.  Elizabeth enjoys endurance sports especially running and has had injures in her past from the sport which help her relate to her patients.  She is hoping to obtain her Board Certified Sports Clinical Specialist in the next year.  In her free time Elizabeth enjoys hiking, mountain biking, running, and spending time with her husband and 2 dogs.
