About / Overview

Dr. Kaitlyn Greer is a board-certified family medicine physician who was born and raised in south central Kentucky. She attended Western Kentucky University, earning a B.S. in psychological sciences with a biology minor. It was during her undergraduate education that Dr. Greer discovered a passion for primary care. She admired the deep bonds her mentors created with their patients while working hand-in-hand to identify and achieve each patient’s individual health goals.

Dr. Greer attended the University of Louisville School of Medicine, where she began focusing her medical education on preventative medicine and underserved communities. She completed three years of residency training in the family medicine program of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine – Chattanooga, serving as chief resident her final year. During her training, Dr. Greer sought additional learning opportunities in her favorite areas of family medicine – women’s health, lifestyle medicine, and office-based procedures.

Dr. Greer and her spouse have a son and a golden retriever. She is an active member of her local church. When she’s not working, Dr. Greer enjoys exploring the outdoors with her family, hiking, reading, and traveling.
