Dr. Dizon attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and received his BS in 2006 and his MD in 2010. He completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine in Knoxville, TN, in 2014.

Dr. Dizon went to the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill (UNC) in July 2014 for the Training in Epidemiology and Clinical Trials (TECT) fellowship, during which he completed a Master of Science in Clinical Research (MSCR) at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health and provided general obstetrics & gynecology services through the Division of Women’s Primary Healthcare. He stayed at UNC for his fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, which he completed in June 2018.

Prior to joining Erlanger, Dr. Dizon served as Assistant Professor in the Division of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. His specialized clinical care focuses on and provides treatment for uterine fibroids; endometri­osis; abnormal uterine bleeding; pain with intercourse; and chronic pelvic, vulvar, and urogenital pain. He believes in excellence in care for women with chronic pain conditions and the need for advanced gynecologic surgery.
