“The focus of my practice is to improve the self-esteem of my patients through cosmetic surgery and to restore lost form and function in the case of traumatic injury or following cancer surgery. I pride myself on being a compassionate, competent, and skillful surgeon. I am dedicated to providing the very best care possible for my patients both in the office and in the operating room.”

Dr. Waldrop is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine where he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. After completion of surgical training, he joined The Plastic Surgery Group, P.C. Dr. Waldrop is a Full Time Assistant Professor at The University of Tennessee Department of Plastic Surgery and is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.

Dr. Waldrop’s practice includes cosmetic surgery of the breast, abdomen, and face. Specifically, breast augmentation, lift, and reduction, tummy tuck, liposuction, face lift, eyelid surgery, and rhinoplasty. In addition to cosmetic surgery, he also performs complex reconstructive surgery and microsurgery. This includes reconstruction of the face, head/neck, breast, trunk, abdomen, or extremities after cancer surgery and trauma. He also has special interest in treatment of facial fractures and skin cancer. He is fully trained in all aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Waldrop resides on Signal Mountain with his wife and daughter. He enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, wake boarding, rock climbing, and hunting.
