Erlanger Western Carolina Hospital is pleased to offer convenient, local clinics featuring fellowship-trained cardiologists from our health system’s Heart and Lung Institute – the region’s only academic cardiopulmonary center.

Dr. Harish Manyam, Erlanger’s Chief of Cardiology, and Dr. Jonathan Powell provide cardiac consultations, including diagnostics, EKGs and device checks by appointment. Both physicians are fellowship trained, teaching cardiologists.

In addition to leading Erlanger’s cardiology department, Dr. Manyam serves as the health system’s Director of Electrophysiology. As an electrophysiologist, Dr. Manyam specializes in cardiac rhythm management. This specialty includes the management and treatment of complex heart arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation, an irregular and often rapid heart rate that can increase your risk of strokes, heart failure and other heart-related complications.

Dr. Powell is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology, and has a strong interest in advanced cardiovascular imaging and non-invasive diagnostics and therapeutics.  

Our cardiology clinic is conveniently located at our Peachtree Center, 125 Medical Park Lane, Suite H. Appointments are by referral only.
