Chief Administrative Officer
Gregg Gentry serves as the Chief of Staff to the President & CEO and Chief Administrative Officer for Erlanger Health System. In this capacity, he works closely with the President & CEO on strategy and governance and is responsible for numerous administrative areas of the Health System’s six acute care hospitals.
Gentry received his undergraduate and Master of Business Administration degrees at The University of Alabama. He has been with Erlanger since 1989.
Gentry serves on the Investment Committee and works closely with the Board of Trustees of Erlanger Health System. He also serves on the hospital’s Executive Compliance Committee, the Erlanger Home Health Board and is Chair of the ContinuCare Board.
Gentry is active in the community and currently serves as Chair of the Finance Committee at his church. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Chattanooga. He also serves on the Health, Educational and Housing Facility Board of the City of Chattanooga (HEB), the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce Board and Executive Committee, is Chair of the Connected Care of East Tennessee ACO Board and previously served on the Boards of Goodwill and Plaza Surgery.
