The Safe and Sound program is supported by Kohl’s Care for Kids. Kohl’s Cares for Kids raises funds for children’s health and educational opportunities across the country through the sale of special gift items. One hundred percent of the net profits from the sale of these items support children’s health and educational opportunities in the market areas served by Kohl’s.


All classes and information are free of charge and are designed to promote awareness of and aversion strategies for day-to-day situations that may pose preventable risks to children.

Offered each Thursday, call the Safe & Sound office for a location near you. Members of the Safe and Sound staff are certified child passenger safety technicians and conduct free car seat installations and checks by appointment.
SAFE KIDS Chattanooga, an alliance of SAFE KIDS Worldwide, is a non-profit organization dedicated solely to the prevention of unintentional childhood injury. Chattanooga SAFE KIDS Campaign aims to stimulate changes in attitudes, behavior and the environment by conducting public outreach and awareness campaigns such as: car seat checks, home, school and bicycle safety.
Meets at the play area on the 4th Wednesday of the month from 11:00-12:00. Children’s Link is open to children of all ages, parents, family members, and caregivers. A different topic will be featured every month.
