Gynecologic Procedures

Donald Chamberlain, M.D., gynecologic oncologist, practices with Chattanooga Gyn-Oncology. The leading proponent of bringing robotic surgery to Erlanger in 2006, Dr. Chamberlain is a faculty member of the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga. Dr. Chamberlain was chosen to present the da Vinci robotic surgical system to President George W. Bush during the presidential visit to the Erlanger Baroness Campus in Chattanooga on February 21, 2007.

Stephen DePasquale, M.D., gynecologic oncologist, practices with Chattanooga’s Program for Women’s Oncology. Also an early proponent of robotic surgery at Erlanger, with numerous patients who have benefited from the da Vinci robotic surgical system, Dr. DePasquale is a faculty member of the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga.

Urologic Procedures

Amar Singh , M.D., urologist and robotics specialist, joined Academic Urologists at Erlanger in 2007. Dr. Singh was instrumental in developing the robotic surgery program at the University Hospital in Syracuse and completed a urologic-oncology fellowship at the National Cancer Institute (NCI-NIH), Bethesda, Md. He is specializing in robotic-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy and cystoprostatectomy, as well as minimally-invasive renal surgeries.
