We have worked diligently this week to get information out to our employees regarding what may or may not have been missing data of names and Social Security numbers.
A story ran in last Sunday's (Sept. 24) paper.
We do not have any information that leads us to believe that this information was stolen or has been used inappropriately.
Please review the attached letters that are being sent to both affected and non-affected employees, as well as some affected former employees.
If you have NOT received your letter yet, you may call Human Resources at 778-6894, and they can tell you if you were or were not on the affected list.
If you have been affected, we recommend that you contact one of the three national credit bureaus listed to place an initial free 90-day fraud alert on your personal credit file. A fraud alert tells creditors to contact you before they open any new accounts or change your existing accounts. As soon as one credit bureau confirms your fraud alert, the others are automatically notified to place fraud alerts on your file. All these credit reports will be sent to you, free of charge for your review.
