About / Overview
Dr. Terry Fokakis is a board-certified physician who practices full-spectrum family medicine for all ages, including inpatient and outpatient care, pediatrics, colonoscopies, and women’s health. He earned a master’s degree in biomedical sciences before attending William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, for medical school. Before his appointment to Erlanger, Dr. Fokakis completed a family medicine residency at McLennan County
Medical Education and Research Foundation in Waco, Texas.
His clinical interests include office-based procedures, diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, Opioid Use Disorder, colon cancer screenings, women’s health and family planning, HIV, and Hepatitis C.
