About / Overview
Dr. Hannah West is a board-certified family medicine physician who grew up in the mountains of southeast Tennessee. She strives to provide compassionate care to her patients, working with them to achieve their health goals and improve their overall quality of life. Dr. West wants her patients to feel comfortable enough to come to her with any problem and feel confident that they will gain a clear understanding of their health or disease. Her clinical interests include women’s medicine, lifestyle medicine, office-based procedures, and wound care.
After completing her undergraduate education at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Dr. West moved to the quaint town of Lewisburg, West Virginia, where she attended the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine.
Following medical school, she and her husband moved back to Chattanooga, where she completed three years of family medicine residency training at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine –Chattanooga, serving as chief resident her final year.
Dr. West and her husband are happy to call Chattanooga home. When she’s not working, Dr. West enjoys exploring Chattanooga with her husband, dogs, and friends.
