Ronald McDonald Care Mobile

The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile is a 40 foot, state-of-the-art, fully equipped dental clinic on wheels with its own dentist and dental assistants. In partnership with T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital and Hamilton County Department of Education, the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile provides free preventative and restorative dental treatment and education to at-risk children.

The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile

provides dental care to children, age 5-21, who have no dental insurance or are on state funded insurance;
currently visits 19 schools in Hamilton County and 2 in Bradley County: Barger, Battle Academy, Bess T. Shepherd, Birchwood, Blythe-Bower, Brown Academy, Calvin Donaldson , Clifton Hills, Dupont, East Brainerd Elementary, East Lake, East Side, Hardy, Harrison, Hillcrest, Hixson, Orchard Knob, Red Bank, Rivermont, Mayfield, McBrien, Wolftever Creek and Woodmore;
travels to area churches and recreation centers during school and summer breaks;
offers full-service dental care including: screenings, exams, cleaning, x-rays, preventative and restorative care, referrals and follow ups for serious dental needs;
acts to get rid of tooth decay, which remains the most common chronic childhood disease—five times more common than asthma.
