The Work Number service is used when you apply for a loan, need a reference check, lease an apartment, or any other instance where proof of employment or income is needed. You benefit from having control of the process - by authorizing others access to your information.

How it works...

For proof of employment for an Erlanger employee:

1. Access The Work Number via the Web or telephone:

2. Enter:
   • Erlanger Health System's Employer Code: 12995 
   • The Employee's Social Security Number

For proof of employment plus income:

(The employee will need to provide a salary key to the verifying entity)

To get a salary key, the employee must:

1. Access The Work Number via the Web or telephone:

2. Enter:
   
   • Erlanger Health System's Employer Code: 12995
   • Employee's Social Security number
   • Your PIN (last 4 digits of your SSN and four-digit birth year)
3. Select the "Create a Salary Key" option and write down the Salary Key provided to you by The Work Number.
4. Provide the salary key to the person requesting proof of your employment plus income.

To obtain proof of employment plus income on an employee from Erlanger Health System, the person requesting proof must:

The Case worker must:
