One of the most valuable ways you can give to our institution is through your time and talent.  Each year approximately 200 volunteers spend more than 18,000 hours assisting patients and their loved ones at Erlanger.  Whether you have a passion for working on special events, telling our story or helping patients, we'd like to work with you to discover your area of interest.  Register as a volunteer today .

Erlanger Baroness Auxiliary

Since 1934, the Auxiliary has contributed vital fundraising dollars and volunteer manpower to Erlanger's operation.  The largest of their numerous service areas is the Erlanger Gift Shop, located at the Baroness Campus.  In addition to funding specific medical items and projects the Auxiliary offers incentive scholarships and awards to outstanding nursing students.  Since 2005, the Auxiliary has contributed more than $933,107 in equipment and programs at Erlanger and T.C. Thompson Children's Hospital.

The American Red Cross

Red Cross volunteers are highly visible at Erlanger, whether assisting patients, families and friends at the Information Desk or delivering mail and flowers to patient rooms.  Their dedication to Erlanger is just one component of the Red Cross global mission.

VolunTEENs 

The VounTEEN program is a summer program that takes place during June and July and is made up of high school students (ages 15-17) who exhibit an interest in community service. Interested students may obtain applications from their school guidance counselors beginning in April. Applications are due May 1, 2010. This is a highly competitive program with only 75 students accepted each year. This is also the sole opportunity for volunteers under the age of 18 at this time.
