Chattanooga, TN – Erlanger Health System is pleased to
announce the opening of Academic Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism located
in the Erlanger Medical Mall, Suite B-601. Endocrinologist, Dr. Asma Khan, will
begin accepting new patients on November 4.  

Academic Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism provides
comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for hormonal disorders including thyroid
disease, diabetes, calcium and parathyroid disorders, osteoporosis, ovarian and
testicular disorders, as well as metabolic syndrome, obesity, pituitary and
adrenal disorders.

Dr. Khan received her medical degree from the Rawalpindi
Medical College in Pakistan and completed her internship and residency at the UT
College of Medicine Chattanooga in internal medicine. Prior to joining Academic
Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism, Dr. Khan completed a fellowship in
endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at the University of Missouri. Dr. Khan
is board-certified in internal medicine.  

In addition, Academic Endocrinology, Diabetes and
Metabolism will offer diabetes education and in-office thyroid ultrasound for
thyroid nodules and thyroid cancers.
