Erlanger has five Tennessee-based medical campuses --
Erlanger East, Erlanger North, Erlanger Bledsoe, and the downtown campus,
Erlanger Baroness, which also includes the campus of T.C. Thompson Children’s
Hospital.

Erlanger is licensed for 819 acute-care beds and 50
long-term care beds serving patients from 50 counties within a 150-mile
radius.

In fiscal year 2008-2009, Erlanger had 27,732 inpatient
admissions 249,679 outpatient visits and treated over 24,000 surgical
patients.

Emergency Care is available 24/7 at the Erlanger
Baroness, North, Bledsoe, and T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital. Urgent Care
is open 9-8, 7 days a week at Erlanger East Campus.

Erlanger is a Level I Trauma Center for adults, providing
the highest level of trauma care. Trauma surgeons are available at all
times.

Critical care units include Shock-Trauma ICU, Medical
ICU, Cardiac Surgery ICU, Cardiac ICU, Surgical ICU, Medical/Surgical ICU and
the region’s only Neuro/Ortho ICU; as well as the PICU and Neo-Natal ICU at
Children’s Hospital.

Surgical Services, inpatient and outpatient, are offered
at the Erlanger Baroness, and East campuses and Children’s Hospital.

Erlanger partners with the University of Tennessee
College of Medicine Chattanooga to provide medical manpower for the
future. More than 160 residents and fellows participate in 9 residency
programs and 5 fellowship programs at the Chattanooga campus based
at Erlanger.

Erlanger Imaging debuted the Picture Archiving
Communications Systems (PACS) in 2007, a digital system offering faster
results, more efficient storage and immediate access to physicians and other
healthcare professionals.

The LIFE FORCE air ambulance program, equipped with
two EC-135 aircraft and one Bell 407, transported 2,034 patients in
fiscal year 2008-2009. LIFE FORCE also operates a regional EMS communications
center.

T. C. Thompson Children’s Hospital is a Comprehensive
Regional Pediatric Center (CRPC), the highest designation in the state for
pediatrics, featuring a full complement of pediatric subspecialists, as well
as a pediatric ER, ICU and a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, providing
the highest level of care in the region to premature and sick infants.

In fiscal year 2008-09, 3211 children were admitted to
Children’s Hospital and more than 37,000 were treated in the Emergency
Department, outpatient surgery and at outpatient clinics.

The Erlanger Baroness Campus offers a Tertiary Level III
Care Center for high-risk obstetrics as well as L/D services for low-risk
patients. Erlanger East Campus offers single room maternity care for vaginal
deliveries, surgical facilities for C-sections and a Level IIA special care
nursery.

The Erlanger North Campus is the site of Erlanger’s Sleep
Disorders Center, accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, as
well as the Senior’s Program, an in-patient unit addressing complex mental and
physical problems associated with aging.

Erlanger Cancer Center offers an extensive clinical
research program and the most advanced technology in radiation therapy, as
well as a Resource Center, community outreach programs and support groups for
cancer patients.

Erlanger has the region’s only kidney transplant program
and offers the less invasive laparoscopic kidney removal.

Erlanger operates the Chattanooga LifeStyle Center,
the area’s first recognized center for preventive medicine, rehab, fitness,
and educational programs.

The region’s first Wound Care Center, featuring Level 1
accredited hyperbaric treatment, is based at the Erlanger Baroness
campus.

Erlanger’s occupational medicine program, WorkForce
Corporate Health, is the region’s most comprehensive service for area
employers.

HealthLink Plus, Erlanger’s free program of
health-related benefits for adults of any age, offers classes and screenings
to over 19,000 members.

Erlanger is the home of the Chattanooga Association for
Pastoral Care, a clinical training program for area ministers and
laypersons.

Erlanger offers the region’s largest hospitalist program
with General Internists delivering 24/7 hour full-time inpatient care for
patients.

Erlanger Southeast Regional Stroke Center is Southeast
Tennessee’s first and only accredited primary stroke center. Erlanger
earned the Gold Seal of Approval from The Joint Commission for Primary Stroke
Centers, recognizing that the program follows national
standards.
