The Communications Center is the hub of all LIFE FORCE operations. Staffed by licensed EMTs and paramedics who hold Certified Flight Communicator designations, the Flight Communications Center provides flight-following and coordination of air medical transport operations. In addition to typical public safety communications, capabilities of the Communications Center also include satellite tracking of aircraft location, direction, altitude and speed.

The LIFE FORCE Communications Center serves as the Chattanooga MedComm, the Regional Medical Communications Center for Southeast Tennessee. As the RMCC, the center provides daily communications support to EMS services transporting patients within the region, provides access to EMS physician consultation and coordinates medical resources during a disaster or mass casualty incident.

The communications center also provides support communications for the Southeast Regional Critical Incident Stress Management Team.
