Dario Gonzalez, MD, FACEP
Medical Director, Bronx FDNY/EMS Division 2
Dr. Dario Gonzalez, Medical Director of the Bronx FDNY/EMS Division 2, as our keynote speaker. Dr. Gonzalez will present on "Explosion Mechanics and Injury Patterns."
Dr. Gonzalez is a pioneer of Urban Search and Rescue tactics and has worked in emergency medicine since 1979. Dr. Gonzalez has served in many capacities within the Fire Department New York/EMS since the early 80's and has vast EMS experience, including FEMA Urban Search and Rescue Task Force Leader and a EMT instructor. He currently serves as the Medical Director of Bronx FDNY/EMS Divison 2. Prior to, Dr. Gonzalez was the Medical Director of the Office of Emergency Management, City of New York, when the World Trade Center was attacked on September 11, 2001. Since then he has published and presented extensively throughout the United States, Mexico, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
