LIFE FORCE is comprised of three major divisions; Air Medical (LIFE FORCE), Medical Communications Center, and the Disaster Medical Special Operations Center. Med-Trans Corporation

In May 2008, Erlanger began a partnership with Texas-based Med-Trans Corporation (Med-Trans), one of the leading providers of air ambulance programs

LIFE FORCE Air Medical is a “DBA” for Med-Trans Corporation (Med-Trans), an FAA Part 135 certificate holder and operator. Accordingly, all transportation by air that is done by LIFE FORCE is, in fact, done by Med-Trans. All LIFE FORCE aircrafts and flights are under the operational control of Med-Trans, and all LIFE FORCE operations are conducted under Med-Trans’ operations specifications (OpSpecs). Med-Trans has responsibility for ensuring all LIFE FORCE aircrafts are airworthy and are in compliance with its FAA-approved inspection/maintenance program. Med-Trans has specified the conditions under which flight may be operated. All LIFE FORCE flight crewmembers assigned to a flight by Med-Trans are qualified, and have been trained under Med-Trans’ approved training program.
